OUR STORY
Rise Up began its journey in the fall of 2021 as a prayer group. What started as a small gathering of women seeking to deepen their spiritual lives has blossomed into a vibrant community of faith and fellowship. Fueled by our unwavering belief in the transformative power of prayer, our group continued to grow, drawing women from all walks of life.
In the fall of 2022, we felt a divine calling to expand to add to our prayer gatherings. God led us to host our first conference, a powerful event that united us in worship, prayer, and renewal. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a new chapter for Rise Up, as we answered the call to hold Worship Nights, creating holy spaces where hearts are set free, and spirits are uplifted.
Today, Rise Up continues to flourish with our prayer group, conferences, and Worship Nights along with our podcast and discipleship course “Abide.” Our deepest desire is to see men and women walking in freedom and empowered to rise up into the fullness of their God-given potential. We are passionate about revival and yearn for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit, believing wholeheartedly in God’s promise to pour out His Spirit in the last days.
At Rise Up, we are committed to being part of the great awakening, standing together in faith and anticipation for what God has in store. Join us as we pursue revival, seek freedom, and rise up into all that God has called us to be. We are not a church but a ministry with a heart to cross denominational lines, welcoming men and women from different churches to join us in this divine movement.
Rise Up Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, ultimate authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is Deity, that He was born of a virgin, was sinless during His life on earth, that we are redeemed by His atoning death through His shed blood, that He bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven, and that He will come again in power and great glory.
We believe that individuals are saved through the exercise of a singular, exclusive faith in the risen Lord, at which time they are regenerated by the Holy Spirit who sanctifies and sets them apart from evil in the world.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whom Christ indwells each believer, enabling him or her to live a godly life of obedience as he or she reaches maturity.
We believe the Holy Spirit unites all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that together they form one body, the church.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live godly lives, equips them with spiritual gifts, and enables them to walk in intimacy with God and boldness in witness.
We believe in water baptism in immersion and the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct and empowering experience available to all believers, accompanied by spiritual gifts as described in Scripture.
We believe the gifts of the Spirit – including prophecy, healing, miracles, tongues, interpretation, and discernment – are active today for the edification of the Church and the advancement of God’s kingdom.
We believe God is calling His church to ongoing revival, renewal, and holiness, and that every believer is invited into a deep personal relationship with Him marked by prayer, worship, obedience, and love.
We believe in unity among believers across denominational lines.
